The Consortium for the Promotion of Acqui Wines has developed a traceability system to provide extra guarantees of authenticity to its consumers. The system makes it possible to track each bottle of Brachetto d’Acqui docg based on its ID, which is printed on the Government seal and contains anti-counterfeit details as well as the whole product history – from shelf to vine – thanks to accurate records from every step in the entire supply chain.
